IF YOU had to cast a couple of polar opposites among the Premier League managers, Alex McLeish and Kevin Keegan would be among the likeliest candidates. One is a reticent pragmatist, the other wears his heart rather messily on his sleeve. Asked to pick a steady man to steer an endangered ship away from the rocks though, and you'd probably plump for the guy with all the freckles.
