Boxing: Upset planned by Morrison
BARRY Morrison accepts he will be regarded as the underdog when he steps into the ring to face David Barnes tomorrow night.
But the Scot insists he is more than capable of causing an upset in Liverpool's Everton Park Sports Centre when he attempts to win back the British light-welterweight title.
The fight comes just over a year after the 28-year-old lost his first defence against Colin Lynes in his hometown of Motherwell and Morrison is determined to overcome Mancunian Barnes.
"The guy has had 23 or 25 fights and he has been there and done it," admitted Morrison.
"He's fought for Commonwealth titles and has the Lonsdale belt to keep up at welterweight.
"But I'm just going to show on the night what I'm capable of."
