HIBS star Merouane Zemmama is in talks with Al–Shaab Cultural and Sporting Club in the United Arab Emirates over a year-long loan move.
The midfielder, who was married over the summer, is keen to move closer to his wife Zineb after she encountered problems obtaining a UK visa.

Zineb, 17, who is expecting the couple's first child, has fallen foul of Home Office regulations which prohibit a permit being issued to anyone under the age of 18.

Hibs are understood to be sympathetic to Zemmama's situation and are willing to allow him to leave until the summer of 2009 at which point he will have two-years remaining on his deal at Easter Road.

#3 you would need to ask the prophet himself. Is he not on these boards using the name Rolland? He's always predicting stuff that doesn't happen :o)

4. Yeah, I hope the prophet Roland is a better guy than his sixth century counterpart. Gazza Gliiter eat yir heart out!

Hibs always do this to their fans, give with one hand and take with the other.

I still think that Benji and Zemmama can come back and do well for us as if they are both on the top of their game they are two of the most technically gifted players in the SPL.

Having said that, I think sending them out on loan is a good move, we have Riordan and Yantorno who can come in for them and I think Mixu doesnt really know how to get the best out of them, plus the squad needed trimming anyway. Hopefully they can come back more focused and consistent, if not they are still under contract and we should be able to get a decent fee for them.

#7 Quite right there at least if they sell them on we should get a half decent fee, unlike with Riordan, murray and caldwell who made their own deals.Still think we need 1 or 2 quality defenders though not sure about Bamba

#8 Very true, Jones and Hogg dont seem to be a great pairing and I think that Hanlon is still too inexperienced to be our first choice left back. Very surprised Mixu didnt bring a keeper in as even he admitted it was an area needing strengthening.

I think Bamba's a good signing altho from what i remember of him when he was in the SPL, his biggest problem was inconsistency, something that the rest of our defence knows about all too well

Comments 1 - 5 Out of order! Don't criticise what you don't understand. I'm proud to be a Hibee because we aren't ignorant bigots. Don't spoil our rep! Marraige at 17 is legal even if British bureaucrats don't understand

My comment was meant to be humour.

I suppose I should have put "LOL" in there somewhere to make that clear though?

Good luck to Zouma. Come home soon.
