Real Madrid happy to wait for Ronaldo

REAL MADRID are willing to play the waiting game in their pursuit of Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Manchester United winger has in recent days maintained his stance of not revealing where he wants to play next season until after Euro 2008. Although United are adamant the Portugal internationalist is not for sale, and have reported Madrid to FIFA over their public courtship of the 23-year-old, the player is keeping all parties guessing over his future.

Madrid director general of the presidency Miguel Angel Arroyo said: "We are waiting for Ronaldo to say something, and as soon as he says he wants to play for Real Madrid, there will be conversations between the two clubs."
